Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how we source, document and deliver medicines internationally.

Is Pharmalogistic a pharmacy?

No. Pharmalogistic is the brand of Medtravel-R GmbH, an independent international pharmaceutical logistics intermediary based in Vienna, Austria. We source medicines from licensed pharmacies, clinics and manufacturers and coordinate their delivery. We are not a pharmacy, a wholesale distributor, a prescriber or a healthcare provider, and we do not manufacture medicines.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, for every prescription-only medicine. A valid prescription from a licensed physician is required, and we verify the prescription rules of the destination country before shipping. If you need one, we can arrange a consultation with a licensed doctor for a prescription review and medical history check.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We ship to 50+ countries across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and beyond, using established international courier partners such as DHL, FedEx and UPS that are experienced in pharmaceutical logistics and customs clearance. Import rules differ by destination, so we confirm feasibility for your country before dispatch.

How are temperature-sensitive medicines shipped?

Medicines that must be kept at 2–8 °C travel in insulated packaging with gel packs and cooling elements sized for the longest expected transit time, inside shock-resistant, tamper-evident and discreet outer boxes, so the cold chain is maintained from dispatch to delivery.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes. Every shipment has a tracking number with real-time delivery updates and customs clearance notifications by email and SMS at each step of the journey.

Who handles customs and import documentation?

We prepare the commercial invoice, the customs declaration and the prescription or medical documentation the destination requires; customs processing itself is carried out by the courier according to its procedures. Import duties and taxes may apply depending on the destination country.

Where do the medicines come from?

Only from licensed pharmacies, clinics and manufacturers regulated by the EMA, the FDA or equivalent national authorities. Products are batch-tracked, expiry dates are monitored, and temperature-sensitive items are handled under controlled conditions.

How quickly do you respond to a request?

You receive a personal reply within 48 hours by email, WhatsApp or Telegram. There are no automated quotes: we answer once, with availability, requirements and delivery options for your medication and country.

How do I request a medication?

Use the quick form (your name and phone number) or the detailed form (medication, country and preferences) on the contact page, or write to [email protected], WhatsApp or Telegram. For medicines not listed in the catalog, including rare-disease and orphan drugs, ask us: we source specialty pharmaceuticals on request.

What information do the medication pages contain, and is it medical advice?

Each page describes an active ingredient: an overview, key facts (drug class, prescription status, storage, strengths, brand names), a FAQ and a full monograph compiled from public regulatory sources such as DrugBank and the EMA Summary of Product Characteristics, with the date it was last reviewed. It is educational information, not medical advice: always consult a qualified healthcare professional and the official product documentation before starting, stopping or changing a medication.

Do you supply controlled substances?

No. We do not source or ship controlled substances covered by the Austrian Suchtmittelgesetz (SMG) or equivalent regulations, such as narcotics and psychotropic medicines.
